Hi, I’m Maddie, the owner of You, Me & Gluten Free!
I started baking gluten free cakes and slices nearly five years ago. Many people assume it’s because I’m coeliac myself, but actually I don’t have any food allergies. What I did notice, though, was a real gap in the market—people with gluten intolerances were struggling to find cakes they could truly enjoy.
My favourite part of what I do is meeting people who tell me they haven’t been able to eat cake in years—and seeing their faces light up when they finally can.
I make an insane amount of cakes! Roughly 30 a week, and I’m so excited to keep sharing them with you. Each week you’ll find me at a local market with a table full of gluten free treats. Come and say hi—I’d love to meet you!
